We are the Score More LLC. Waddup yall my name is Sascha Stone Guttfreund and I throw shows. I began doing club promotion at the age of 15, when I was involved in the start up of Cali Visions, and event company out of LA that was started by Derek Glasser and Jason Deutchman (the Dolce Group). I moved to Austin to go to The University of Texas... I began working with a hip hop artist by the name of Kevin Jack, on artist development which turned into a management role. There was an article written in a magazine about the two of us working together and the steam that we had gained, which started to create a buzz...As the buzz grew, i was contacted by Paul Magee (owner of global groove.... http://globalgrooveevents.com/ ... he had done Ludacris, Nelly, Akon, Flo Rida.. just to name a few).. I was working with someone with experience.. someone who I could learn from. He contacted me because he was in a tight squeeze. He had booked Shwayze for the MONDAY night after ACL... For those of you who don't know, Austin City Limits is one of the nation's biggest festivals.. it consists of people partying nonstop friday through sunday from 12pm to 10 pm.. He booked it the following day... As you can imagine, that's a tough pitch, after people have spent over $200 at ACL and are completely fried from baking in 100 degree+ weather.. Well.. Global Groove had sold only 3 tickets for the event, and it was only 3 weeks away. Thank to Mike Bryant, Phillip Couchman, Victoria Huffines, Melissa Schwartz, Amanda Gorin, Brett Rivera, Benji Hill, Andrea Kveton and Simon Friedlander we sold 900 tickets. The rest is history.... Began running club promotion for 12 different night clubs simultaneously, and have been blessed enough to meet some of the best people in the entertainment world in town... it's gotten to a point where I am now well respected as the new kid on the block taking over with the up and coming college market.. but what's my passion? - THE MUSIC. So, I got hired by a music venue to be their director of events (Aces Lounge on 6th street). Score More, and its team of college students, has a home on 6th street, a BEAUTIFUL music venue they can call their home... and the result has been beautiful.. and the madness has just begun.
Score More is a group of students throwing events "FOR.THE.STUDENTS.BY.THE.STUDENTS". It means we throw dope parties with dope acts that are remembered by all those who attend.. It is run by Phillip Couchman, the head of sponsorship and Sascha Stone Guttfreund who handles booking.
